Maha Jabro Grade: 1/2/3 We start the class with a short prayer and then proceed to reading and doing activities in the Good News handout. Followed by the come and follow me catholic song. If time allows we will read Good News handbook page 22.
Monika Czartoryjski Grade: 1/2/3 For our first meeting this week, the children will first get to know each other and then we will move onto the kids showing how they help or serve others and go into how Jesus serves others and connecting with others. We will then move to how the children feel welcomed by God in church and by others in every day life.
Peg Tynes Grade: 4 After opening prayer and introductions, students began work in the Pflaum Venture series. We discussed the parts of the Mass and focused on the Liturgy of the Word using the Sept 29th Venture handout. We completed a bible search activity using book, chapter, and verse to locate the Sunday readings. We previewed the Gospel reading for October 6th and completed the connection web in the Oct 6th Venture handout. We concluded our lesson with a closing prayer. Homework: Please complete the October lessons in "A Family of Faith" with your student. The October goals can be found on page 9 of the parent guide.

Veronica Weisenberger Grade: 7/8 I will be covering the Sept 22 Vision and the Sept 29th. If possible, they can read pages 5-10 of their Catechism Handbook. Every time, they are going to have as a homework the last page of each booklet to do with their family and have it signed by a parent.
